ADEL, IOWA – September 24, 2025 – Integrated Window Systems® is proud to announce the addition of Andrea “AJ” Akins as the new Business Development Manager for the South-Central region of the United States. With more than 30 years of construction experience, AJ brings a wealth of expertise and a customer-first mindset to her role, strengthening IWS’s commitment to providing tailored solutions for every client.
AJ’s career began in the trades before expanding into customer service and technical outside sales. Over the years, she has partnered with design-build teams, structural engineers, architects, and contractors across the commercial and steel construction industries. Her extensive background includes designing and launching fastening systems and power tools, developing marketing and training programs for anchor systems, epoxy and mechanical solutions, concrete repair, and masonry restoration. She has also delivered technical training for cold-formed steel applications.
An active member of industry organizations including ACI, ICC, NAWIC, SEOSD, WCCA, Women’s Construction Coalition, and the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association, AJ is widely recognized for her deep product knowledge and her reputation as a trusted advisor.
